RightSeat listens to your aircraft through the sim and, at the right moments, reads the briefings, makes the standard callouts, runs the checklists with you and gives the cabin announcements.

What it does
- Briefings. Departure (runway, SID, V-speeds, rejected-take-off plan) and approach (runway, minimums, live destination weather from aviationweather.gov), in a calm British voice.
- Callouts. 80 knots, V1, rotate, positive climb, gear, flaps, the 1,000 and 500 ft stability gates, minimums, the flare count, spoilers and reversers. Each one once, on cue.
- Checklists. Challenge and response, with items it can see in the cockpit ticked automatically (A320).
- Avro RJ / BAe 146 first officer. Speed-guarded flap prompts, gear and flap calls, the after-take-off and approach flows.
- SimBrief import, or type the details into the setup screen.
- Stale-plan warning if the aircraft or plan doesn't match what you're flying.
- Works with BeyondATC: shows the assigned runway and flags one that differs from your plan.

RightSeat is coming to study-level general aviation, with UK PPL-style procedures: checklists, circuit calls, downwind checks and practice forced landings. Nobody does aircraft-specific procedures for GA yet.

Questions
Do I need a subscription?
No. RightSeat Co-pilot is a one-off purchase with everything for flying. RightSeat Plus is optional, and your first month of it is free.
Can I use the AI First Officer without Plus?
Yes, once it ships: add your own Anthropic API key and it's free from us. Your questions go from your PC to Anthropic on your key, and Anthropic bills your usage.
What does the beta price include?
The beta is £14.99. It includes the 1.0 release, which will cost £24.99, and every 1.x update.
How do extra aircraft work?
Each extra aircraft is £9.99, or £7.99 if you pre-order it. Pre-orders are only charged when the aircraft ships.
Install
Download RightSeat-Setup.exe, double-click it, done. It installs for your Windows user, adds a
Start menu shortcut, puts the free MobiFlight module into MSFS for you, and can start RightSeat whenever MSFS starts.
Windows may say "Windows protected your PC" for new independent software: click More info, then Run anyway.
This is a beta
It has been flown on real sectors, but not on every setup. Expect rough edges and please report what you find. If it doesn't work on your PC, you get your money back.
Requirements: Windows 10 or 11, MSFS 2024 (2020 untested). Internet only for weather and SimBrief. Not a training aid: for flight simulation only.
